Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Danny!
Danny is a 1‑year‑old pit bull mix, around 45 lbs, with a big personality and an even bigger heart.
This boy is full of life and loves to burst into playful zoomies—often showing off his acrobatics with flips onto the couch or tornado‑style spins right into your lap! Once he gets the energy out of his system, Danny settles into a sweet, gentle, happy dog who loves nothing more than being with his people.
A true social butterfly, Danny wants to greet everyone he meets. He’ll plop himself down for pets and roll over for belly rubs within seconds. He’s curious about everything, always keeping an eye on what you’re doing and ready to be part of it.
We’ve been working on his focus and manners, and he’s already learned to sit, shake, and is close to mastering “down” and “stay.” He’ll often sit like a perfect gentleman when hoping for an extra treat.
Danny loves fetch, chasing toys, and cuddling up at night (fair warning—he’s not shy about hogging the bed!). He does well left out with a bone and calming music, though he might give you a little resistance about going into a crate.
One of Danny’s funniest quirks? He’s claimed a suitcase as his personal dog bed and likes to “pack” his favorite treasures—socks, shoes, even shorts—inside. It’s adorable and will keep you laughing.
Danny is looking for a home that will be patient and consistent with his training while giving him plenty of love and guidance. With the right person, he has all the potential to be the best dog and a loyal companion for life.
Ready to meet Danny? He can’t wait to meet you!
