Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Abby, aka “Abby-Cat,” is an orange domestic medium-haired cat. She was rescued from a Rural King in Terre Haute. Due to her friendliness, thick fur, tufted paws, and large build it is probable she is a Maine Coon, but being a rescue we cannot confirm that.
Abby is 4-5 years old, she was adopted 4 years ago this September. The shelter said she was 1 based on her size, although, with her Maine Coon build it is likely she was younger when we got her.
Abby is a relaxed, calm, and caring cat. She is very friendly and loves to be pet, except by small children. Abby would do best in a house without children but is fine with them as long as they do not corner her. You will often find her relaxing on top of couches and beds, overlooking the room, or outside watching birds and catching insects. Abby does not like being held and will very rarely sit on anyone’s lap, but once she feels comfortable with you, you can bet she will come looking for attention showing her belly, just on her own terms.
