He loves being close to his people and is happiest when he can curl up nearby, quietly keeping you company throughout the day. Hector shares an especially close bond with his lifelong companion Goose—his best friend and sibling. The two have always been inseparable and would thrive staying together in a loving home. As a strictly indoor cat, Hector finds joy in the simple comforts: a soft blanket, a sunny windowsill, and the gentle presence of those he loves. If you're looking to bring home a pair of deeply bonded, gentle-hearted cats, Hector (and Goose) would be a perfect addition to your family.

We do not have a fixed adoption fee at For The Cats' Sake, but instead ask for a tax-deductible donation to our group. On average, we spend over $250 to cover spay and neutering, testing for FeLV and FIV, vaccinations, flea treatment, deworming and any vet care/medicine that is needed. We ask for a minimum donation of $80 per cat, and that adopters pay more if they are able to. Our goal is to find the best home for each animal, and we feel this policy makes it possible for more people to adopt one or more cats. It is important to us that every adopter can afford to care for their pets properly and give them a home for life.

Cats or kittens are generally viewed at our main foster location Flint Hill, when they are ready for adoption, so you willhave a good choice
Home Check
We will deliver your kitty to you and do a basic home check at that time. All vet records will be provided then and the contract signed.
