If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Meet Arthur – Sweet, Spunky Chihuahua Mix Looking for a Loving Home!
Arthur is a 2-year-old male Chihuahua mix (about 85% Chihuahua) weighing around 20 lbs. He’s the last of a litter we were fostering, and while it’s hard to let him go, we need to rehome him due to a major family change—my elderly grandmother is moving in, and we can no longer keep him.
Arthur is:
•Vaccinated (Rabies, Parvo, Distemper)
•Neutered 5/30
•Shy at first, but once he warms up, he’s incredibly affectionate and loyal
•Energetic and loves to play—balls, bones, and treats are his favorite!
•Best as the only male dog if kept intact, due to some typical male dominance behaviors
He barks at new people but settles quickly—usually after a gentle correction or distraction with a treat. He bonds strongly with his person and will be a devoted companion with a little patience and love.
We are doing our best to rehome him ourselves before considering surrender to a shelter. Arthur deserves a stable, loving home.
