My story

Hi everyone, I wanted to introduce myself. My name is Mikey, and I was recently taken into the rescue along with two other buns who were part of a massive confiscation/cruelty case. We had to be held at the shelter for many months until the court proceedings were decided but we are now free to be adopted and go to different rescues.

I was one of the lucky ones that was saved and taken into this rescue but don't worry all my friends were saved as well!!! I am a gorgeous 7 lbs New Zealand breed rabbit. I have been seen by a vet, and I am both healthy and also neutered.

I am shy when you first meet me but with gentle coaxing I love to have my ears and head gently stroked and petted. I am great with my litterbox and my foster mom is so happy about that. I would probably be a great bonding candidate for any spayed females searching for a friend since I was used to living with other buns.

I am eating a proper diet of Oxbow Adult Rabbit Pellets, lots of timothy hay and a big bowl of fresh water. So far we have found I love romaine, parsley and small treats of banana and apple.
