Meet Goose: your future zoomie loving best friend. He is just shy of a year old and is an handsome English Pointer mixed breed. He is equal parts silly, sweet, and toy obsessed. Truly, he would do your taxes if it meant earning his favorite squeaky reward. The best part? He’s not possessive — he’s all about playing and is happy to share. He is looking for an active family with a fenced in yard for him to stretch his long legs and show off his Olympic level zoomie skills. He would likely do well with another playful dog pending a successful meet and greet. He’s still young and is working on his manners (and can be mouthy in a playful way), he is best suited to a home with teens or adults who can redirect his enthusiasm. Goose is incredibly affectionate and wildly entertaining. He is up to date on vaccinations, neutered, and more than ready to trade shelter life for toys, adventures, and a forever family that thinks a crooked smile is the best kind of smile.

ADOPTION INFORMATION

*PLEASE NOTE: DUE TO STRINGENT OUT OF STATE HEALTH CERTIFICATE REQUIREMENTS WE ARE NOW ONLY ADOPTING TO RHODE ISLAND RESIDENTS*. We apologize for the inconvenience.

HOW TO GO ABOUT ADOPTING:
1. Come in during adoption hours to apply and fill out an application completely. We have applications on site. Open adoption hours take place at 44 Worthington Road in Cranston, RI. We are open every Wednesday 3-7pm and Saturday 10am-2pm.
2. We require proof of homeownership (tax form, deed, mortgage statement) or landlord approval (a copy of your lease that clearly states you are allowed to have a dog, puppy, cat, or kitten OR written and signed consent from your landlord.
3. We require copies of up to date vet records for any current pets.

Helpful reminders:
*We do not do same day adoptions.
*Please bring the entire family in to meet the animal you are interested in.
*We will setup a meet and greet with your dog at a later date. PLEASE do not bring your dog with you when you come in to apply.
