Callie is a 7-month-old Calico beauty, a perfect blend of playful kitten energy and sweet affection. She purrs as soon as you pick her up and will melt into your arms for cuddles, and later turn into an adorable ball of energy during playtime. Although timid with new faces, Callie's curiosity always wins, and she'll soon be charming every visitor to your house--she is really a social butterfly. She is an accomplished house cat who will do well in a spacious home where she can zoom around and explore, whether with a playful feline friend or as your one-and-only companion. She has been around a dog and may do well with a gentle dog after proper introduction. She has good litter box manners, a beautiful healthy coat, and a healthy appetite. She tested NEGATIVE for feline leukemia and FIV. She has been spayed, has a microchip, and has received all appropriate vaccines. Want to watch Callie in action? text 512-567-9745 for a short video!

More about this rescue
We are a small group of animal loving women and men who used to rescue cats individually then one day joined together to pool our resources and hold joint adoption events on week-ends. We do it because we love animals and feel a sense of responsibility toward companion animals, who are totally dependent on humans for their survival and well being, and who are too often betrayed and abandonned by their human caretakers. We are involved in TNR, when we find feral kittens we tame them and put them up for adoption. WE provide spay/neuter services to low-income families unable to pay for those services, if there are kittens in those families we place them in our adoption program. We feed several feral cat colonies. We raise funds to pay for vet care for injured or sick cats.
