My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

George is an 8-month-old cattle dog mix weighing around 22 lbs. He's a sweet and clever pup who wants nothing more than to love and be loved.

In his former life, George didn't receive the attention and training he needed while growing up, so he's looking for an adopter who is patient and committed to show him the ropes and provide him with the care and guidance he didn't get before. He's incredibly smart and a fast learner, and in just a couple of weeks he's made incredible progress, but still has a lot to learn.

George benefits greatly from routine and structure.
Once he trusts you, his sweet and affectionate nature really shines.

Approved adopters interested in George can email adopt@hbrdogs.com for more info. If you're not approved yet, apply today at hbrdogs.com.

More about this rescue

We are dedicated to ending the needless euthanasia of shelter dogs through direct lifesaving, shared learning, and community building. Our incredible network of rescue partners, fosters, volunteers, and a small but mighty staff work together to save dogs in the areas where shelters are under the greatest stress, and unite them with loving adopters ready to give them the lives they deserve.
