Yeona is currently at her foster home in Vancouver, BC.

Background:
Yeona’s story starts with her brave mom, Heidi, who was rescued last year after being found tied to a pole, all alone and neglected. Not long after coming to our boarding house, we found out Heidi was pregnant. In June 2024, she gave birth to five beautiful puppies—including Yeona. Her mom and a few of her siblings have already found their loving homes. Now, it’s Yeona’s turn. She is currently living with two cats in a foster home in Vancouver.

Personality and Socialization:
Yeona is just like her mom—sweet, loving, and gentle. She loves people and other dogs, and she’s always happy to greet everyone with a wagging tail and her big, bright smile. She enjoys playing with her doggy friends and has a calm, balanced energy.

Behaviour:
Yeona is a well-mannered, easygoing pup. She rides well in the car, although she might get a bit nervous in the beginning. She doesn’t mind baths, and also walks well on a leash. She’s quiet (rarely barks) and hasn’t shown any destructive habits. She hasn’t been around cats or young kids, so we’re not sure how she’d do with them.

Health and Diet:
Yeona is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on all her vaccines. She’s on monthly parasite prevention and eats dry kibble with no known allergies. One thing to mention—when Yeona was younger, she had some skin troubles that are now fully healed. However, there’s a spot on her belly where the hair hasn’t grown back. We’re not sure if the hair will come in later, but it doesn’t bother her at all. Yeona is healthy, happy, and ready to find her forever home.

Ideal Home:
Yeona would be a wonderful addition to almost any family. She’s a great match for first-time dog parents or families looking to add a second dog. We are looking for a home where someone is around most of the time, like someone who works from home or is retired. Yeona is full of love and happiness, and whoever welcomes her into their life will be very lucky to have her by their side.
