SOUS-CHEF. Luke is an experienced kitchen helper and cabinet inspector. He doubles as The Flying Lukenda when the home gym is in need of inspections. Expect this active boy to jump on your back to “help” with your yoga moves. In his quiet moments Luke may be found napping on your feet.
LAP WARMER. Duke never saw a lap he did not like. You will never be cold with Duke on duty! He is also an excellent nap assistant, all bad dreams will be chased away by his soothing purrs.
Both get along well with the resident cats and dog in their foster home. True to form, Duke naps next to the dog … while Luke has fun stalking her!
Duke and Luke love spending time with you and will stretch up your legs to let you know they are overdue for pets and cuddles.
With these two expert felines on your team, we guarantee your home will be filled with love and laughter.
The adoption fee for both of us is $250.00 and AARF wants us to tell you that their adoption package covers all expenses needed to prepare kitties like us for our forever homes. By the time you meet us, we`ve already been spayed/neutered (if age appropriate) and microchipped. We`ve been checked by a veterinarian, and we`re up to date on age appropriate immunizations against rabies and FVRCP (feline viral rhinotracheitis, calicivirus and panleukopenia). Some of us have had extensive surgeries, dental work, or other necessary procedures. AARF is committed to getting all of us entirely ready for a happy, healthy, love-filled life!

AARF only adopts pets to people in the Baltimore/DC metro region. In certain circumstances, we will consider homes in closer areas Pennsylvania, Delaware and Northern Virginia. This is due to the required home visit and long term ability to support the adoption. If you live outside of an hour radius of Baltimore, it is unlikely that your application will be approved.
Completion of the application form does not guarantee AARF will place one of our pets in your care. Many of our animals receive multiple applications, and we evaluate each applicant on fit for the specific animal (not first come first serve).
Completion of the application authorizes AARF to verify any information contained herein, including verification of medical records of any present or prior pets treated by the veterinarians listed.
AARF utilizes Truthfinder, a leading provider of public data about people and their connections to others, to verify certain information provided on foster and adoption applications. Truthfinder does not provide consumer reports and is not a consumer reporting agency as defined by the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA).
