Athena and Sokolata come from the beautiful Island of Paros Greece. The beauty of the island has no reflection on the hard lives of the stray cats that live there. These two sisters appeared without their mother when they were little kittens and were rescued by a local cat rescue. They received vet care, good nutrition, and now the chance to get a loving home here in the U.S. Sweet, polite and playful, these two young ladies are really coming out of their shell! Athena is very cuddly, loves to roll over for tummy rubs and loves to give kisses! Sokolata is a bit more independent but loves pets on the head and rubs against everything to express how happy she is to see you! They like to play with balls, chase feathers and their favorite thing is to watch the birds and squirrels outside the window. These two sisters would be the purrfect addition to an individual or family looking for two well behaved loving girls. They will bring you so much Joy! They were born around 04/05/2023.

Once you've filled out an application, we will contact your references and put you in touch with the foster/caregiver of the cat. Once your application is approved, we schedule you to attend a Zoom group seminar on cat care. We invite both novice and experienced alike to attend. Then you would sign the adoption agreement, pay the adoption fee, and make arrangements for the cat to be moved to your home. We always do a home visit which is both reassuring to the cat when it is being introduced and to the foster who has taken care of the cat. Presently we are doing home visits with FaceTime or Zoom to confirm you have secure windows, no toxic plants and a generally safe environment for a cat. The adoption fee is $150 for one cat under 7 years old, $75 for one cat 7 years and older.
All cats have been tested for the Feline Leukemia and FIV virus, vaccinated (FVRCP and Rabies vaccines), microchipped, dewormed and spayed/neutered. If you adopt kittens that are too young to be altered, we will arrange the spay/neuter/microchip at a later date at a partner vet.
