This is Lucy! This sweet girl and her brother, Desi who is also up for adoption, came to us as TNR kittens that were not feral enough to return to their colony. Lucy is definitely the less shy of the two and she will lay on your lap all day if you let her. She is a big fan of playing hide and seek only with the monitor on her foster mom's computer, lol. She would be a great support if she was adopted with her shy brother. They are bonded, however, they do not have to be adopted together. If you want this very sweet girl, fill out an app today!

Submit Application

Interested adopters must fill out an adoption application form on our website and submit.

Interview

We conduct a phone call with the potential adopter to go over a list of standard questions to ensure the animal of interest is a good fit.

Home Check

Meet the Pet

A meet and greet will take place with the adoptable and any other animals in the residence to ensure all animals get along.

Approve Application

If vetting on current pets are up to date and references check out, adoption will be approved

Sign Adoption Contract

Max Raven Animal Rescue is a no-kill, non-profit, foster-based animal rescue. Our mission is to save lives and rescue animals in Nebraska and surrounding states with urgent rescue needs. We strive to create a safe and loving environment for discarded and special needs animals.

Our goal is to go from a strictly foster-based rescue to expanding our home base to an acreage, to further our vision of building a sanctuary for animals deemed unadoptable. Giving them a safe and loving home to live out the rest of their days in the care of Max Raven Animal Rescue. We want to provide a happy and loving home for all the animals that come across our path and do our due diligence to save as many animals as possible from euthanasia.
