Meet Tippy, a 7-year-old English Pointer who was transferred to Big Dog Ranch from a shelter in South Carolina to find her forever home. She has been diagnosed with Addison’s disease, a hormonal disorder that’s very manageable with proper treatment and care. Despite this diagnosis, Tippy’s spirit and energy remain high—she doesn’t let anything hold her back. Tippy would do best with an adopter who has experience with dogs, especially English Pointers or dogs with ongoing medical needs, and who can provide the attentive care she requires. She gets along well with other dogs and enjoys both playtime and downtime. This sweet girl loves to cuddle once she feels comfortable and has a fondness for toys, making her a wonderful companion for someone ready to give her the love and support she deserves!

If you are interested in adopting a dog from us please visit the ranch. Our website adoptions page has all of our availalbe dogs and our adoption application at www.bdrr.org/adopt. This will help us make sure we find you the right dog to fit your situation and family. You are welcomed to come to the ranch seven days a week or you can make an appointment with our adoption desk. Our adoption fees range depending on the dog's breed, age and other factors.
