Edison and Einstein are a pair of incredibly sweet brothers looking for their forever home. These two are bonded and would do best being adopted together. They may be a little shy at first, but once they feel comfortable, they’ll shower you with affection. Edison, the more outgoing of the two, is a chatty and loving boy who enjoys being petted once he gets to know you. Einstein, a bit more skittish, is a gentle soul who loves to keep an eye on his brother and will warm up to you with patience and care.
Both have gorgeous long, silky black fur and are quick to flop onto their backs for a scratch session. They enjoy their quiet moments, often lounging under the bed or in the basement, but they’re also curious and playful, joining in games of chase with their feline housemates.
These sweet boys may take a little time to fully come out of their shells, but with a loving and understanding family, they will flourish and bring endless joy. Our adoption fees:
Cats range from $150 to $175. Exotic breeds may be more.
Dogs range from $250 to $350. High demand puppies and small dogs may be more.
This fee includes: felv/fiv/heartworm testing, worming, flea and ear mite treatments, age-appropriate vaccinations, spay/neuter, rabies vaccination, lab work, dental or other medical or surgical treatments as deemed necessary by our team of veterinarians and a microchip with free registration.

St. Louis Pet Rescue is a non-profit rescue group focusing on saving pets from local animal control facilities and other neglect situations.
We do not have a facility. All of the pets we rescue are in loving foster homes. Foster homes provide love, care training, and, if needed, rehabilitation to the pets. This also allows the pet to be more adjusted when they enter their forever home since they are used to a home environment (versus a kennel at the pound).
