Civic is a beautiful 8-month old female Tortoiseshell kitty who was found on North Hart Street in Marietta Ohio and brought to the safety of our shelter on April 17, 2025.
Civic has a black/orange/cream short smooth coat in a tortoiseshell pattern, a long tail, and an adorable face with large golden eyes, a black velvet nose, and black whiskers (with two extra-long white whiskers).
When you first meet this young lady, she appears to have a bit of a 'cat-i-tude' and will probably greet you with a hiss .. But she is actually a friendly little girl who is exhibiting that behavior as a defense mechanism to express her shyness.
Civic was spayed on May 12, 2025 and was also given rabies vaccine. She weighed 4.6 lbs that day.
Civic would love to find a home with a compassionate individual/family who understands what it's like to be a frightened kitty and who will have the patience to give her time to acclimate to her new home on her own schedule.
