Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Thomas is a 1 year old sulcata tortoise. We are guessing male but he is too young to know for sure. He is very full of himself and full of personality. He will chase you around and eat you out of house and home. He is pretty well potty trained if given a water source he can climb into. The only reason he needs an experienced owner is because THESE GUYS GET HUGE AND LIVE FOREVER!
Please do your research before requesting to adopt him. They can live up to 100 years or more, so make sure you have a plan for him after you are no longer to care for him, and remember they get around 200lbs and will need a lot of space and a heated outdoor enclosure or an indoor space to winter in. But if you are ready for the challenge these guys make great pets and act more like dogs then they do tortoises.
