My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

K.K. is the longest guest in our cat room.
She is a quiet, independent girl. After months in the cat room, enduring hundreds of often noisy visitors, she is a tad shy. K.K. just needs a little time to warm up. She loves a calm environment. K.K. likes to be the only cat, and she seems to prefer women over men.

K.K. eats special dry food for her sensitive digestive system - Hill’s Prescription Diet Z/D (4 lb bag - $29). She eats about 1/2 cup a day. She’s well worth it!

K.K. is a lovely brown tabby with big, dreamy, green eyes that don’t miss a thing.

Come meet K.K. Spend some time with her and fall in love. Apply for K.K. at ghhs.org.

Additional adoption info

Adopters must be at least 19 years old.

If you rent, you must have permission from your landlord and pet fees must be paid in advance.

If adopting into a family, we require all members of the family to be in agreement about adopting. For families that already include another dog, we typically require a meet and greet; this may be hosted on the GHHS property, or at the potential adopter's home.

Some animals may require a home inspection.

Verification of current pet(s) vaccine/vet records.
