Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Katara, a very sweet and affectionate young dog. When Katara arrived at the shelter nearly a year ago, she was badly injured and shut down. With time, care, and patience, Katara has fully healed and learned to trust people. Katara is still reserved with strangers, but once she feels safe, she blossoms into a loving and loyal companion. The busy shelter environment makes this gentle girl nervous, so she is currently in foster care – thriving in a calm, quiet home.
Here’s what Katara’s foster family say about her: “Of all the dogs we have had over the years, Katara has been the easiest to care for. She is affectionate, and loves kisses, belly rubs, and ear scratches. Katara is calm around the house, curious about newcomers and stays alone at home without barking. She is very comfortable coming with us on outings to the beach, the dog park, restaurants, and even trivia night! Katara has blossomed into a sweet-tempered, loyal member of our household.”
Katara is ready to find her forever home—one that appreciates her gentle nature and gives her permanent stability and a loving family to call her own.
