Part of an animal confiscation in Bakersfield ca these two lovebirds found their way to the rescue and have been slowly learning to trust people again. they are gentle by nature And very quiet but love sunbathing and enjoy gentle showers from the hose. they will come with a bag of food and their little solar water fountain but please have a travel cage ready if you come to adopt this adorable pair (they are the largest pigeons out there Called King pigeons Cosmo is very beautiful and vibrant in his coloring and has mostly white feathers while Wanda is the larger female who is mostly black. They are bonded and we were told they were nesting before they were confiscated. They have been showing a little bit of nesting behavior but they love being indoors and enjoy being outdoors when the weather is nice they are fully flighted and are excellent flyers so do not let them outside without having a harness or a cage to keep them in they get along with most birds, ducks, geese, chickens, and smaller birds and they’re very quiet so they would make great companions for beginners if you’re interested in bringing them Home Please contact the rescue directly with the information listed above their story.
