Behold: CHIP.
A Great Dane of truly magnificent proportions.
A beast of grace, silliness, and legs that go on for days.
Chip looks like he was sculpted out of melted chocolate and pure confusion.
He is enormous.
He is dramatic.
He is everything.
WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW ABOUT CHIP:
💖 Chip LOVES women.
Not “likes.”
Not “enjoys.”
LOVES.
He sees a woman and suddenly he’s a Victorian man getting the vapors.
👨🦱 Men?
…Chip says: “I’ll think about it.”
He can love men.
He will love men.
But first he must stare at them suspiciously like he's trying to figure out if they stole his lunch in third grade.
Give him a little time, a few snacks, and a respectful “hello, sir,” and he will eventually decide you are not a threat but in fact a tall treat dispenser.
CHIP’S PERSONALITY:
• 80% legs
• 20% feelings
• 100% confused moose energy
He's the kind of guy who tries to sit on your lap even though his entire body weighs as much as a medium-sized refrigerator.
He is a certified gentle giant, a professional leaner, and a part-time clown.

🍪 Following his chosen woman around like a romance novel side character
🍪 Peeking around doorways like a Scooby-Doo villain

✔ A patient, loving home
✔ Understanding of his “I need a minute, sir” policy with men
✔ Space for his limbs (they are everywhere)
✔ Snacks, affection, and maybe a fainting couch for when he gets overwhelmed

Chip is neutered, gastropexied, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, heartworm tested, and current on flea/heartworm prevention. He is currently around 100lbs but anticipate he will be around 120 as an adult at a healthy weight. He is 1 year old. Chips adoption fee is $200.

Out of respect and safety for our foster families, Meet and greets are only scheduled after an application has been approved. There are no exceptions. We do occasionally participate in adoption events locally and will bring our adoptable dogs to these events. we do not do same day adoptions in those situations.
