Hi everyone my name is Cookie and I was one of three buns that were currently taken into the rescue from a cruelty/confiscation case. You can see the other two buns named Bun Affleck and Mikey. There were approximately 60 rabbits in total that were confiscated.
I am a beautiful breed of bun called Champagne D'Argent and I have a gorgeous coat that is black with a beautiful grey speckling. This is not a breed that often comes into the rescue. I have been seen by the vet and have been spayed. I weigh approximately 6 lbs and I am full grown. I am loving the new changes in my life especially being indoors and playing with toys and tunnels. I am a bit shy when you first meet me as you can imagine after all I have been through. I may be a great bonding candidate for any neutered males searching for a friend as I am used to living with lots of other rabbits so one should be no problem at all.
I am now eating a proper diet of Oxbow Adult Timothy pellets, lots of timothy hay and a big bowl of fresh water that is cleaned and changed daily. So far my foster mom said I love romaine, parsley, small pieces of apple, banana and even a few blueberries.

All adopters are required to sign an adoption contract and agree to provide a forever indoor home for their bun. Single bunnies are 85.00 and bonded buns are 150.00. If for any reason you are not able to keep the bun they are to be returned to the rescue.

After fostering for over 20 years I decided it was time to open my own rescue. Bunnies are intelligent caring sensitive creatures who blossom in the right environment. They have much more spunk and personality than most people realize . You will be a convert once you have the chance to experience first hand how wonderful a compainon they can be.
