Meet Chicago! This big, handsome tabby is a softie with a gentle heart. He starts off a little shy but give him a few days, and he’ll be melting into your hand for ear scratches (his absolute favorite!).
Chicago sets healthy boundaries at first—he’s polite but clear about needing a bit of space to warm up. Once he feels safe, he’s a total lovebug. He’s happily living with another foster named Monet, but they’re not bonded and can be adopted separately.
Chicago is FIV+, which just means his immune system is a bit more delicate than most. It’s not a big deal—FIV+ cats can live long, healthy lives with regular vet care, good food, and a low-stress indoor lifestyle.
If you’re the kind of person who appreciates slow-burn friendships and soulful eye contact, Chicago might just be your guy.
