As an open intake municipal shelter for the service areas of Riverside County, our team relies on documented observations of finders, owners, volunteers, and staff. "Good With" labels indicate positive engagements with including Dog Day Out trips, kennel mate pairing, owner/foster reports, playgroup observations, etc. Our staff will review details of each pet and counsel you on best when you visit our shelters.
The pets featured on our web page are available for adoption on first come first serve basis. We do not guarantee that pets seen on our web page will be available to adopt when you arrive at the animal shelter. The County of Riverside Animal Services does not reserve pets for adoption by telephone or e-mail. You must come to the shelter to adopt an animal and refer to the animal's pet identification number (PID) when inquiring about a particular pet. Please bring a leash or carrier with you if you intend to adopt a pet.
