My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Pansy didn’t get to look for a  home when she was a smaller kitten because she got sick. She and her sister Violet had to go through the long process of being treated for FIP. Fortunately, Pansy is now fully recovered and ready to claim a human family. This sleek black cat (with a white armpit) is super friendly and affectionate. She likes to run and leap around  high places, do make sure you can give her lots of vertical space!  Pansy was born May 2024. She is spayed, micro chipped and up-to-date with vaccinations. As always, our cat/kitten adoptions are free will donation to approved applicants. ****The first step in the adoption process is to complete the application at www.emmetcountyanimalshelter.org****

More about this shelter

The ECAS is an all volunteer, no kill shelter. Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome pets in need due to neglect, abandonment, abuse or from simply not being wanted! We started in 2010 due to a need in our community. We are currently a foster based organization and we are currently building our new shelter facility. We work hand in hand with other rescue and shelters in the area to help out when and where we are needed.
