My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Blues Clues!

Blues Clues is a six-year-old medium mixed breed with a big personality and an even bigger heart. She's a 56-pound bundle of bounces, wiggles, and affectionate energy who's been patiently waiting for someone to see past the shelter stress and into her goofy, lovable soul. Found as a stray and now fully vetted and spayed, Blues Clues is ready to put her detective skills to good use sniffing out snacks, toys, and a forever home.

My foster writes: Looking for a cuddly and low-key dog- Blues Clue is for you! This 6 year old gem is the perfect lady, respectful at home and happy to doze away on the couch or in a pile of pillows- even better if she has a blanket to keep her cozy! As an adult, she is relatively low energy and content with 2 easy walks and maybe some fun toy play but that's about it! With that routine, she has shown to be fully house-trained which is a great skill to have in an apartment. She does show some reactivity to dogs and some wheeled items but is super food motivated. Since we have had her, she will easily let dogs walk by her with the reward of a nice piece of chicken so the behavior is very easy to manage even during busy times of day. We have loved having her in our home and know she will make a wonderful pet for anyone who is looking for a easy-going companion!

My foster writes: Meet Blue's Clues - the strong diva with the cutest puppy dog eyes you've ever seen!
She spends her days trying to collect cuddles from every single person she walks past, clearly a lover girl at heart. Blue's Clues is great with humans and has amazing intuition. She really gets you and understands what you're telling her, which makes her a total joy to have around.
Playtime is a non-negotiable in her world. Toss the toy once, and you've just signed up for a lifetime of fetch, she'll never let you forget how much fun it is!
She's respectful of boundaries and knows the rules. In our apartment, she understands she's only allowed on one bed, and she sticks to it, no couch surfing or room sneaking here!
Blue's Clues is ready for her forever home, with just one simple requirement: a safe, loving space and at least one bed (or couch!) she can call her own. Are you ready to fall in love?

My foster writes: Blue is the best friend you've been looking for. She'll cuddle you when you're down, protect you and keep you company. She'd thrive in a one dog household. She loves going for walks and playing with her toys. You don't have to worry about blue being home alone- she is very respectful of her humans stuff. She's house trained and will let you know if she has to go outside. She's also good with children.
