Julia is a 11 months old (as of 11/25/2025) husky mix. She loves to go on walks and snuggle on the couch. Something that is SUPER SPECIAL; she has heterochromia, which means having ONE BLUE EYE and ONE BROWN EYE! How cool is that!! It does not affect her vision at all. Once we have approved an adopter, a meet and greet is set up with the pet to ensure the pet is a suitable fit to the family before proceeding with adoption.

Go meet their pets

Once adopters are approved, they are introduced to the foster parents of the pet they are approved for and a meet and greet is arranged at the home of the foster.

NMLR is a small rescue located outside of Charlotte NC. We specialize in pulling puppies from rural shelters 12 weeks of age and younger. Our heart and passion is puppies!! That first 6 months of a puppies life, is crucial in the remainder of the pets life. We provide loving and safe foster homes until we can find the perfect adopter for each pet we pull.
