Dixie is about 2 years old, and this super sweet houndy girl weighs about 40 pounds. Dixie is a typical hound - meaning that when she goes for a walk, her nose leads the way! She has been friendly with all the people she has met. While Dixie can be grabby with food and treats, we think she would do fine in a home with children, as long as caution is observed while she's eating. Dixie must meet any resident dog(s) in a potential new home, to make sure they get along.
