My story

My name is Sabrina. I am a sweet 4-year old Chinese Crested (hairy hairless) weighing in at about 11 pounds. Since coming to rescue I have learned that people can be kind and life is good. While I am a little shy at first, I do love getting pets and giving kisses. One of my favorite things to do is relax and snooze in my fluffy dog bed (much better than the 10x10 kennel with the concrete floor I previously slept in). I am also learning that walks are fun. I’m not great at it yet, so I am a bit of a work in progress in that regard. I have done well with my potty training as long as taken out regularly. My perfect home would be one where my people can be patient with me while I continue to build my confidence. I would do best in an adult home and/or a home with older kids (14 and up) with dog experience. I do find other dogs a comfort and would love a canine sibling who will play with me when I feel silly. Foster mom thinks that I may be ok with confident cats also. I am learning to love to explore, so a securely fenced yard where I can do so safely is required. Sabrina is spayed, up to date on all vaccines, heart worm negative and on heartworm preventative, de-wormed, had a dental, and microchipped. Sabrina’s adoption fee is $400.00.
