Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Dylan is a sweet, outgoing cat who loves to hangout with his people! He enjoys playing with spring toys and chasing puff ball toys down the hall all day, and asks to be picked up when he’s ready to settle into a lap in the evening. He also loves chin scratches, watching birds out the window, and stretching out next to his human for a good nap! Dylan will do best in a calm home without dogs or children under 12. He may get along well with another mellow cat.
When our rescue team first met Dylan at the local shelter, we were advised of his wobbly walk and occasional back-end “flop”. It was clear Dylan needed a proper diagnosis and care before finding his forever home, so we brought him to our trusted veterinary specialist for answers. Under the care of a neurologist and after extensive testing, it was determined that Dylan’s unsteady gait is likely something he was born with, or possibly the result of early-life trauma. Dylan doesn’t require any ongoing medication or treatment. He simply needs a stable, understanding home where he can move around safely and be loved for exactly who he is!
Please come see Dylan and the other cats that are available at the PetSmart store in The District Shopping Center in Tustin (2237 Park Avenue). Adoptions are by appointment and on Saturdays from 1-4pm.

When you choose to adopt one of OCARC's animals, the adoption donation is $175. Each of our cats and kittens has been:
- Spayed or neutered
- Microchipped
- Tested for FeLV (Feline Leukemia)
- Tested for FIV (Feline Aids)
- De-flead (topical Revolution or Advantage)
- De-wormed (tape and round worms)
- Given their first FVRCP vaccination:
We keep all our kitties current on their FVRCP vaccines so depending on the age of the kitty when you adopt him or her and how long we've had the kitty, the vaccine series may be complete. If not, you as the adopter will be responsible for any further vaccinations in the series.
- Rabies Vaccination when age appropriate
These services would usually cost more than $500. Of course, an adoption donation of more than $175 is always welcome, since we often provide additional medical care such as x-rays, blood panels, treatment for ears, eyes, upper respiratory infections and viruses.
