Well, hello there! I`m Cowie-and let me start by saying, the only thing I have in common with a cow is my coloring (I`m way cuter, I promise)! The staff and volunteers, aka `Team Cowie` (my official fan club), will tell you I`m all about toys, zoomies, playing with my dog friends, and soaking up all the love. I can be a bit shy with new people and in new places, so I`m really looking for someone who`ll advocate for me, help me with slow introductions, and give me time to warm up at my own pace. But don`t worry-if you`ve got treats, I`m so there! I even know `sit` and `paw` (yep, I`m a genius) and will do just about anything for a tasty snack. I`ve been at the shelter for over a year now, and while I`ve made some great friends along the way, I`m really hoping to find my forever family soon. If you`re looking for a loyal, face-kissing, big-smiling, treat-loving buddy who`s totally worth the wait-let`s do this! I`ll bring the kisses, you bring the snacks!

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• In possession of a valid photo ID
• Allowed to have a pet where you live
• Must accurately complete our Adoption Questionnaire
• All dogs, cats and rabbits adopted from Maui Humane Society are spayed or neutered.
• Able to follow all county laws related to the animal.
• Able and willing to spend the time and money necessary to provide the training, medical treatment and proper care for the animal
