Welcome to Scooters page.
In Scooter’s happy place, she met you as a kitten and she has adored you from the moment she first saw you (Scooter loves pets and cuddles and she knows yours are best). Scooter loves people and she fits right in.
We don’t live in the ideal world though and instead of being a kitten, Scooter came to Runaways as a sweet young girl with a bullet in her spine. We don’t know who shot the sweetest cat you’ll ever meet. What we do know is after x-rays, still more x-rays, and a second opinion the bullet is inoperable and any attempt to remove it would dimmish her quality of life, because it hit in just the right wrong place.
She proudly wears her diapers, which are easily changed twice a day. She is always ready for pets on her head, chin rubs, and some nice quality scritches from people who care. When she really likes you she will show off her belly in a nice big long stretch and takes in some quality belly pets.
Scooter has acquired Heterochromia, which means her eyes are two different colors; one is brown and one is green. The veterinarians believe she doesn't see very well (if at all) with her chocolatey brown eye, you’d never know that though as she wizzes around the house always curious checking on what's going on, including the other cats. Scooter does love cats, though they sometimes can find the way she moves around a bit odd at first so if you have them, it may take some time for cats to get used to Scooter.
If you don’t have cats in your home, adding Scooter to your household will bring you happiness joy, and not a single litter box. As a busy young feline, if you work outside of your home Scooter would likely benefit from having a cat friend, to give her someone to play with.
Scooter will never walk on your table, but if you lift her up, she will very likely cuddle in your bed. While a little shy at first, she warms up quickly and is quite smart. She’s looking forward to meeting you. Schedule your appointment today.
