Meet Suncrest – Sweet, Smart, and Ready for a Fresh Start!

Suncrest is a lifelong Angel who entered foster care as a puppy in 2018 and was adopted into a loving home. After several happy years, he was sadly returned — but with some anxiety and leash reactivity. But don’t let that hold you back — this boy is full of heart and potential!

Since returning, Suncrest has started professional training and is receiving medication to help calm his busy mind. He’s responded wonderfully, especially given his limited time and environment. But with consistency, structure, and a steady supply of cheesy treats (his favorite!), Suncrest is eager to keep growing in a calm, committed home.

He’s looking for an experienced, dog-savvy person who can continue his training and provide the stability he needs. While he’s not suited for first-time dog owners, in the right hands, he will truly shine.

Submit Application

Submit an adoption application at www.angelsrescue.org/adopt and a member of our Adoption Team will contact you for an interview.

2.
Meet the Pet

Our pets are located in foster homes. Once your application is approved, you will be connected with the foster family.

3.
Home Check

The foster family will do a brief home visit to ensure that it's a perfect match between family & pet!

4.
Pay Fee

Adoption fees range from $50 - $150 for cats and $150 - $300 for dogs. Specials and discounts may apply.

5.
Sign Adoption Contract

Take the Pet Home

Our team is available for support and referrals post adoption if you need it!

We ask that all pets and family members meet your potential new pet so that everyone can be sure they are the right fit!

Puppies and kittens under 4 months may only be adopted locally. Fully vetted and altered pets may be adopted out of state.
