Pico is a senior gentleman looking for his forever home.
Heartbreakingly, his guardian lost her home, leaving Pico in need of a place to call his own for the rest of his Golden Years.
A 7-pound, 16-year-old tuxedo, Pico has adjusted quickly in his foster home. He was jumping up on laps and asking for pets just hours after arriving. It is obvious he was well-loved in his previous life.
His foster mom describes Pico as a loving and well-mannered cat who loves to sleep under blankets and in between pillows as well as snuggling with his human. He also loves catnip.
"Pico is definitely an affectionate cat," she says. "I've had him for only a couple of days and he loves cuddling before bed and isn't afraid to ask for attention. He loves nothing more than to cuddle in bed before curling up next to you (either above or below the covers)!"
Pico enjoys being picked up and carried and being brushed and combed. He likes his cheeks scratched, sitting in windowsills, using his scratching post, and playing with toy mice.
He even travels well in the car!
If you ask his former guardian what Pico's favorite activities are she will say "sleeping and eating."
And snuggling.
