This sweet senior gentleman is an orange tabby with a heart as warm as his coat. Rescued from the leeward side of Oʻahu, Popoki is mellow, affectionate, and full of love. He’s a total lap cat who delights in curling up while you relax, always ready with a soft purr and gentle head boops.

One of Popoki’s favorite things is laying on your chest while soaking up head scratches—he melts into every moment of affection. He also has a soft spot for treats, especially Churu and Bonkers Purr Pops!

At night, Popoki loves to sleep with his person, offering comforting warmth and quiet companionship. He thrives in calm, cozy environments and would be the perfect match for someone looking for a relaxed and loving feline friend.

Interview

We will call you for a brief chat! We want to ensure the best fit!

3.
Visit the Facility and Find a Pet

We will schedule a meet and greet! We have a ton of kitties and we want to let you interact with the vast selection!

4.
Sign Adoption Contract

Once you choose your new family member, Sign the contract, pay $100 adoption fee, take your new pal home!

Additional adoption info

To ensure a successful, long-term adoption for both you and your potential feline companion, we ask that you fill out an adoption application and undergo a phone interview to determine whether you are a good match for each other. Our adoption process is designed to focus on the best fit for each individual cat, rather than a first-come, first-serve basis. In some rare cases, we may require a zoom or physical home check or recommend a foster-to-adopt scenario.
