My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

🐾 Paws Up! I'm Red, and I'm Ready for Adventure! 🐾

Hey there! I'm Red, and let me tell you, I'm a young fella with a whole lot of love and life in my heart. If you're looking for someone to bring a little extra pep to your step, you've found him! My playful antics are famous around here—I live to make you smile, and my jovial spirit is totally contagious. I'm always ready to share my joy with anyone who's up for it!

❤️ A Family-Loving, Loyal Companion
I'm not just a bundle of energy; I'm also an incredibly loyal companion who knows how to love unconditionally. I'm one of those lucky dogs who gets along with humans of any age—from the youngest tots to the wisest adults, I love you all! In fact, I'm a huge fan of kids and would be thrilled to join a loving family with children. I have a super friendly demeanor and think I'd be a great fit for you! I even love going on day trips with the awesome volunteers here at Stray Haven. Imagine all the fun we could have spending a day out on the town together!

🏥 A Note on My Health
Now, for a little honesty and a special requirement: I have a flea allergy. It makes me pretty itchy, so it's super important that my future family is committed to keeping me on regular, year-round, vet-approved flea medication! This simple step keeps me happy, healthy, and itch-free.

🐕 My Home Preferences
When it comes to my housemates, I have a few requests. I'm a bit dog selective. I've done well in some playgroups, but when it comes to living with other dogs, I'd probably do best as your one and only furry friend. And as for those mysterious little feline creatures... well, let's just say a home without cats is a must for me!

I'm looking for a forever family to share my big heart and my big adventures with. Could that be you? Come meet me and see how much I have to offer!
