My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Zeo, a cat with a heart as big as his personality. He is the embodiment of sweetness, exuding an aura of warmth and gentleness that is hard to resist. Though he may be a bit shy at first, Zeo quickly warms up to show his friendly side. He values his independence, often seen exploring the nooks and crannies of the shelter. But don`t let his independent streak fool you. Zeo loves nothing more than curling up next to a friend after a day of adventure. His gentle nature makes him a perfect companion for those seeking a peaceful and loving friend. Adopt Zeo today, not only because he`s a sweetheart, but because he will fill your life with love, warmth, and unforgettable moments.

More about this shelter

The Gananoque & District Humane Society (GDHS) is a volunteer run no kill animal shelter that takes in abandoned or surrendered animals, provides them with medical care and attempts to find them forever homes. Every animal that enters GDHS is quarantined, assessed and examined by a vet (if necessary), spayed or neutered, microchipped, and given vaccinations prior to being available for adoption. We do not receive guaranteed funding from any source and rely on the generosity of our community.
