Paco was found in an abandoned in an empty apartment in NYC. He was then brought to the New York Animal Care Centers. At the shelter he was shy but he had a good behavior evaluation.
The shelter was getting full and his time was coming to and end. Luckily a wonderful woman came to his rescue and saved his life.
These are PACO'S STATS:
Approximate age 5
Approximate weight 55 Lbs
Breed (s) Amstaff
Spayed or neutered? Neutered
Good with:
kids? Yes older ones
strangers? Slow introduction
other dogs? Good with well-balanced dogs
cats? Not tested
On leash? Usually good and easy to correct if he gets a little excited and pulls
Housetrained? Yes
Crate trained? Yes
Paco is a very smart dog who loves learning and having a routine. He’d do best with a person or a family who has some dog experience and can give him clear, positive guidance. Paco is strong and athletic- perfect for runs and outdoor adventures- but he’s also a big softie who loves to cuddle up and relax.
Because Paco is strong and naturally protective, he feels best when new people and places are introduced to him with calm guidance and reassurance.
Paco is the best of both worlds — playful and full of energy, but also a big
sweetheart who loves to cuddle. He has the cutest droopy lips and a face you’ll fall in love with right away.
Paco is athletic and would make a great running or hiking buddy, but he’s just as
happy curling up next to you after a fun day. He knows all his basic commands like sit, stay, and leave it, and he’ll even go to his bed when you ask him. He’s crate trained, fully housebroken, and gets along great with other dogs. Paco has a heart full of love and can’t wait to find someone to share it with.
