"TINY" - SWEET YOUNG CHI-MIX WITH SPECIAL NEEDS LOOKING FOR A GREAT HOME
My name is Tiny, and I’m a young, adorable Chihuahua mix . I’m ten months old and weigh 28 lbs. I love people/kids and dogs and get along with cats. Overall, I’m full of joy, and I love to prance around, lifting my front paws like a show-pony. I get a lot of compliments on my cute face, especially my “eyebrows” as well my fur which is a little bit curly.
I had a rough start to my life, living on the streets as a baby in a bad neighborhood. Luckily for me, a homeless man took pity on me and tried to care for me while he was also struggling with life on the streets. When I had a seizure, he realized he didn’t have the resources to look after me and found a foster to take me in. After visiting a neurologist, I learned that I have epilepsy, and the vet put me on medication. Since then, I haven’t had a single seizure. I was also diagnosed with Vestibular Disease, which is an inner-ear condition that affects balance. However, most of the symptoms have disappeared as I’ve gotten older, and all that’s left is a sleight head-tilt, which people find adorable.
So, I need to find a home where my adopters don’t mind giving me a pill in the morning and night. Other than that, I’m pretty low maintenance. I love my walks and playing with other dogs.
I’m also neutered and microchipped and have had all my shots.
If you think you can give me a loving home, please contact my foster Jack at the contact info below. He will also pay for my medication for the first six months in my new home.

More about this rescue
Take Me Home (TMH) is a non-profit, volunteer-based organization that has been saving the lives of homeless animals for more than twelve years. We work in conjunction with shelters and rescues throughout California and beyond to help save dogs on death row, on the streets or in unsafe living conditions. Our team is driven by love, compassion and doing right by innocent animals who have no voice.
We are very skilled in running mobile dog adoptions and working with families in all aspects of finding their new family member. We also have an on-site trainer at most of our adoption events and available as a resource after our dogs are placed in loving homes.
All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, brought up-to-date on all shots and are micro-chipped. If we pull a dog from a shelter, we will quarantine him/her to ensure they are healthy before they go home. We also have an amazing foster program available for our special needs and older dogs.
As with any non-profit organization, we rely solely on funds from generous and cherished supporters to keep our doors open to save more lives. If you're not ready to adopt, please still consider donating to Take Me Home (www.takemehome.tv) today. Every little bit helps!
