Everleigh is 35 lbs of sweet, loving beautiful pocket Pitbull girl. She LOVES to give smooches. She is so happy for any of the good things dogs enjoy - the soft bed, the delicious meals, bones and treats, toys to play with, and walks. The best guess is that she was born in late 2021, making her about 3.5 years old at this writing. She was found as a starved 23 lb skeletal stray, who thankfully landed at an excellent North Carolina shelter who took really good care of her. She is fully up to date medically, spayed, vaccinated, and on the preventatives. When she has been given the opportunity to come face to face with the other dogs here at the rescue, she gives them little kisses. I have not had her loose with them, but they have met through the fence and on walks. She walks nicely on a leash, but does get excited when cars are passing, so I hold on to her extra well. While here, she has only been in her little living room kennel or out in her play yard, not in an actual house. But from that, I can say she is NOT destructive and does not soil inside. In her early life of neglect, she must have had chronic ear infections, so her ears, while cute as can be, are scarred from hematomas. Her only sort of special need is making sure her ears are kept clean. While she is super sweet, she does have moments of residual fearfulness occasionally when meeting strangers. Out of an abundance of caution, I would like her to have an adult only home. She would be perfect as an only pet, but she might do well with proper introduction to the right kind, easy-going dog. She has been growing more accustomed to our resident feral cat, but at this point, I would say a no-cat home would be safest. She's adorable, affectionate, energetic, and soooo lovable. If interested, please text 804-248-3042 or email trampsrescue@yahoo.com. Thanks.

More about this rescue
Tramp's Rescue is an all volunteer organization. We are a small organization that rescues dogs from local animal shelters and other places.
We typically keep around thirty dogs at a time. We provide all necessary medical treatments including spaying or neutering, heartworm, and anything the veternarian recommends.
Once we rescue a dog, that dog will stay with us until he/she finds a good home.
We hold weekly adoption stands at different local stores such as Petco and Petsmart.
We are a non-profit organization dependent on donations to rescue these dogs. We can use any type of assistance you can provide, such as volunteer dog handlers, foster homes for dogs, or donations of food or money
