Meet Lincoln!
Sweet Lincoln was saved at the 11th hour from an overcrowded animal shelter. He spent most of his puppy life in that shelter and when he came to us he had to learn all about being a much loved pet in a home.
Lincoln is a very gentle soul. He loves other dogs and is kind to everyone. His biggest challenge is that he is a scaredy-cat. Lincoln is nervous meeting new people and sadly that is why he has not been adopted yet. His big sweet face is a window into his soft heart and if you only took the time to get to know him and to earn his trust, you would have a friend for life.
Lincoln is good with cats, and even the guinea pigs in his foster home. He is just a good boy with a bit of an anxiety issue. He did not grow up in a normal home, but in a noisy shelter without proper socialization or normal contact with people. He is learning to trust and loves his foster mom. He walks on a leash, though this needs a little work because he can get a little spooked when he is too far away from home.
Lincoln is crate trained and potty trained. He will let you know when he needs to go. He loves his dog friends and his foster buddy Austin is his own emotional support dog. Having another dog in the home helps him a lot and they love to play together.
All Lincoln wants is someone to love and for someone to love him. He just needs some patience and a confident person who is willing to help him learn and blossom. He is more than worth it.
Lincoln is vaccinated, chipped and neutered. His adoption fee is fully sponsored by one of our many Lincoln supporters.
We cover the medical to prepare the pet for adoption and the adopt donations go directly to cover those costs and range from $295-$495. Thank you for stepping up to save a life!
