Good with dogs? Illy does best with other energetic dogs who like to play, but is respectful if she is told to back off. She would be great as an only dog, soaking up all of your love and snuggles!
Good with cats? No, she has a strong prey drive, chases cats, and may also chase other small animals such as bunnies, squirrels and birds.
Good with kids? Yes, she is great with kids of all ages and is very gentle with a baby.
Energy level: Medium, with a balanced mix of high energy play and mellow relaxation time. Illy enjoys taking walks and running around in a large yard, but also likes to nap and chill on the couch. She loves sitting outside in the sun, chewing on bones, playing with toys and doggie puzzles, and a good game of rope tug of war!
Animal Characteristics: Illy is energetic and sweet. She loves playing and snuggling with people. She is silly and loves to flip upside down for tummy rubs. She is so excited to meet new people that she will jump with joy. Illy can get highly stimulated but is very responsive to training and redirection, and needs an adopter who will continue reinforcing her calm behaviors with focus and patience. She really just wants a couch and bed to lounge on like a queen!
