My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Say hello to Kazo, a handsome Doberman with a docked tail, a few battle-worn ears, and a heart full of love. Neutered, microchipped, crate, and leash trained, Kazo is the kind of pup who’s ready to walk right into your life — and your heart.

Though he can be selective with male dogs, Kazo is respectful and responsive to correction. He’s a quiet, loving companion who’s great with cats and children, making him a gentle and loyal addition to any family. Kazo is also a very good listener — the kind who always seems to understand when you need a moment of comfort.

He prefers the cozy life indoors, where he can curl up and feel safe. While he sleeps and eats in his crate like a champ, he’s happiest just being close to his people.

Kazo is looking for a warm, loving home to call his own. Could it be yours?

Additional adoption info

In some circumstances, meeting the dog and a home check are done at the same time if the dog is ready to be adopted. We do have conversation with potential adopters prior to them meeting the dog. If they are interested in adopting a puppy who is not ready for adoption (not altered, not UTD, etc) they are able to put a hold on the pup until ready for adoption.

More about this rescue

Pathways for Paws was founded in October 2019. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit, no-kill, animal welfare organization.

Our mission is to make spay/neuter & vaccinations affordable to those in our communities. By achieving this, we will help prevent the neglect & abuse of dogs. All dogs in our care are spay/neutered, given the age appropriate vaccinations and microchipped before going to their FURever families.

We work with rescues & fellow animal advocates to continue growing a network of volunteers and supporters.
