Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Katie came into the shelter after her owner died. She was unfortunately alone with her owner for days before they were found. She came into the shelter traumatized, and very nervous. She had never been walked on a leash, and had to get used to the very different environment of being at the shelter. She had never been without her owner, and was very scared on her own. Katie is still getting used to being at the shelter. She gets along with the other dogs through the fencing, and was introduced to one of the male dogs at the shelter and they did great. This shy girl would do so much better in a home. She needs a special family who will be patient, and help her build her confidence. Please contact the shelter if you think you can help Katie by adopting or fostering her.
