My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Peaches is a 9 year old sweet gal who needs to be adopted with her sister (not litter mate) Squeaky. They have lived together nearly their entire lives and love to cuddle and they rely on each other. Their original mom passed away about a year ago and they have been staying with a family member since then but they will do best in a home of their own that doesn’t have young, loud children or dogs. There is another cat in the home but they have never interacted with each other so it seems like they may prefer a home with just the two of them and their new human family members.

As the big sister, Peaches is the one that will become acclimated to new surroundings faster than Squeaky. Both of them are very shy initially. They lived most of their lives in a small, cozy, and quiet bedroom with their original mom and didn’t venture out of that room very often. While they would eventually become comfortable in a larger setting, it will be important that they have a safe space to retreat to particularly as they get to know a new place. Patience will be important for their new family members to allow them time to adjust but you will be rewarded with their sweet, gentle personalities when they realize they are safe.

Peaches likes to be brushed and will most likely be a lap cat once she gets used to her person. She also likes to talk and purrs when she is comfortable. She loves to be picked up and cuddled. She enjoys being petted and will stick around for some scratches and pets as long as she can get it. It seems likely that she would sleep with her new family if they allow it.

She will definitely hide when strangers come to visit but she is very sweet when she feels comfortable. She will come with several supplies to help her get started in a new setting.

Can you be the next phase in this sweet girls’ journey and expand your heart for two sweet gals?
