Animal Profile: Chico is an adorable petite happy go lucky boy joining us from our friends on the big island of Hawaii to find his forever. He is an estimated 2-3 year old 23 lb neutered male mixed breed who is social and friendly with everyone and everything including cats; he enjoys car rides, is comfortable with handling and has no resource guarding behaviors. We will share more info as we get to know him in foster care.

Foster Update: Coming Soon

Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $575 which includes spay, core vaccinations per AVMA standards, heartworm test, microchip with lifetime registration, and recent visit with a veterinarian. Adoption fee may be tax deductible as DGS is a 501c3 organization.

Animal History: This dog was rescued from Hawaii thru our rescue partner Three Ring Ranch, and will be arriving to Seattle area foster care on May 15th, 2025. We will share more info as we get to know him in foster care.

Additional adoption info

All potential adopters must complete the adoption application including veterinary and personal references. In addition, a home check may be required. Adoptions will not be approved without an in-person meeting with the adoptable dog and a volunteer or foster from the rescue organization. Dog Gone Seattle is a Seattle-based non-profit corporation established in 2013 as a community based organization and in 2017 as a non-profit corporation seeking to place homeless dogs in forever homes in the Seattle area. We take in dogs from high-kill shelters in California and Texas, as well as dogs from unfortunate circumstances in Washington and beyond.
