Bonjour, I’m Frenchie!

Oui, I have a very distinguished mustache—and no, I don’t mind if you point it out every time you see me. I’m a petite gray and white lady with a big personality and an even bigger heart, once you get to know me.

When I first arrived at the sanctuary, I was terrified. People were big and loud and new, and I just wasn’t sure. But slowly, with kindness and patience, I learned that head scratches are magical, pets feel nice, and not every human is scary. I’m still shy with new people, and I’ll need time to settle in and feel safe in a new home—but once I do, I promise I’ll be your little shadow (especially around your feet, so watch your step!).

I’m not quite a lap cat (that may change with time and patience), but you can hold me for short cuddle sessions and sneak in some kisses while you're at it. I do sometimes get a bit overstimulated and will give you a gentle little love tap to let you know—it’s just my way of saying “that’s enough, thanks.”

I love other cats and enjoy snuggling up in a cozy cat cuddle puddle. Catnip? Yes, please. Toy mice? Throw them my way. Lickable treats? I will never say no. And tall cat scratchers? The higher the better—I love a good perch with a view.

I am great with other cats and would enjoy a home with one or two. I have excellent litter box habits. My new perfect family NEEDS to that understands it WILL take me a while to adjust at first and I WILL hide as I adjust. Give me time, patience, and use food as a tool to get me out of my shell - I really am a wonderful cat.

I am fully vetted: spayed, FIV&FeLV negative, and up-to-date on all my vaccinations. I require an indoor only home and as with all cats - absolutely no declawing.
