My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Background Info: sweet puffy was one of the kitties abandoned by previous neighbors. She endure the most pain from abusive neighbors who saw her as a nuisance when all she wanted back was the food and care she once had. She was hit with brooms, was hosed down with water, had dogs set on her amongst other cruel things. she is the second kitty I started to feed. She was extremely fearful of everyone including me. I would watch how another kitty would come to the door for food and followed but she would only come to eat after I placed the plate down and went indoors. She has grown to be the most loving kitty. She runs to me whenever I or anyone from my family goes outside and allows us to
pet her as much as we please. She thanks me for caring for her and her family everyday

Personality: extremely sweet and
loving. Craves attention and love

More about this rescue

Boyle Heights Cats is a volunteer-run organization that seeks to make spay/neuter and low cost veterinary services accessible to all community members. We train community members of Boyle Heights, Lincoln Heights, El Sereno and East Los Angeles how to TNR and monitor their pet colonies in order to stop the overpopulation of homeless cats. We believe that community members can lead the change to reduce the number of stray cats on the streets. It is our collective responsibility to care for the community cats in our neighborhoods
