I'm a very good boy who landed at an over-capacity county shelter thru no fault of my own. Thankfully, Guardians of Florida Animal Rescue pulled me from that shelter and gave me the medical and general care I needed to be ready for my forever home. I appear to be a pointer and/or cattle dog mix estimated at around 2 years old, and recently weighed in at just over 50 lbs. I am friendly with dogs and people at the rescue. My one lingering issue is that I tested heartworm-positive and am currently undergoing treatment using the "slow kill" method, which will have to be continued by my adopters by administering oral meds.
