*** Kevin`s adoption fee has been fully sponsored, so he`s ready to go home with no adoption fees!
Sweet Kevin is a 12-year-old, 15.5-pound Domestic Shorthair cat looking for a playful and loving forever home. Although he is a senior, Kevin still loves playing with toys and occasionally gets a case of the zoomies around the house! In his previous home, he lived with both dogs and cats. He would likely get along well with your resident pets, provided they value nap time as much as he does.
Because he is currently in a foster home, Kevin is already well-adjusted to a household environment. He is a gentle, calm, and affectionate boy who wants nothing more than to be by your side - especially if you’re relaxing in a squishy recliner. He has a wonderfully soft coat and truly enjoys being petted and brushed. To stay healthy in his golden years, Kevin requires insulin with his meals, so he is looking for a devoted family ready to manage his care.
Kevin is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on his vaccines. You can visit him at The Babinski Foundation Animal Shelter in Pequot Lakes, Minnesota, by contacting our front desk to arrange a meeting with his foster!

OUR STORY
The Babinski Foundation was established in 2010 by Donald and Elizabeth Babinski owners and founders of Babinski Properties which owns multifamily housing in Minnesota, Florida and South Dakota. He and his wife Elizabeth were working tirelessly to get the animal shelter opened which was their dream, but Donald Babinski passed away August 11th, 2014 before the shelter could open. Elizabeth continued where they left off and the Foundation opened in January 2016 in Pequot Lakes, MN. Elizabeth passed away on November 13th, 2020. Donald and Elizabeth’s dream was finally realized, and Donald and Elizabeth’s surviving family and friends will continue to work hard to fulfill their mission.
