My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Reba the rabbit was one of many stray pet rabbits rescued by Dumped Bunny group.  She is a large, gorgeous ginger girl and loves to run around and play.

She has really blossomed into a great bun, she is friendly and accepts pets, she isn't nuts about being held, but most buns are not. She boops our ankles with her nose and binkies around with her big large bod!

She hasn't loved any of the other buns she has met, but you never know with bun chemistry, she could still enjoy a friend.https://www.lostwoodsas.com/adoption-application

Go meet their pets

We are currently open by appointment only to see all the pets, but we frequently appear at farmer's markets and other local events with adoptable animals.

More about this shelter

We are a specialty rescue for small exotic pets, such as reptiles and small mammals. We were formed by two women who met working at a nature center. In their interactions with the public they noticed a need in the area for a rescue that specialized in exotic pets, as well as a value in public education. Lost Woods Animal Sanctuary was formed with the mission to reduce mistreatment and abandonment of animals through rescue and rehoming, as well as educational outreach.
